JinkoSolar Signs 2GW Tiger Neo 3.0 Module Deal in Australia, Strengthening Distribution Network

JinkoSolar,the global leading PV and ESS supplier, recentlyhas signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a key Australian PV distributor Blue Sun Group for the supply of 2GW of high-efficiency Tiger Neo 3.0 modules.

Signed at JinkoSolar's new Sydney headquarters, the agreement builds on over 1GW of modules delivered over the past three years, strengthening both parties' commitment to expanding Australia's distributed generation market.

Tiger Neo 3.0: Optimized for LCOE
Purpose-built for Australia's high-irradiance climate, the Tiger Neo 3.0 module delivers measurable economic benefits through enhanced efficiency and levelized cost of energy (LCOE):

• High temperature performance: An exceptionally low temperature coefficient (-0.26%/°C) ensures strong output during peak summer conditions.
• Extended generation: Superior low-light response, enabled by TOPCon technology, delivers more generation hours in low-light and variable conditions.
• Higher area-specific yield: With efficiency up to 24.8%, the Tiger Neo 3.0's optimized 48- and 51-cell formats maximize power output per square meter for residential and commercial rooftops.
• Long-term reliability: First-year degradation ≤1% and a 30-year linear power warranty reduce lifetime costs and protect project returns.

Positioned for Australia's Energy Transition
The agreement aligns with Australia's accelerating energy transition. Federal Powering Australia targets 82% renewables by 2030 and net zero by 2050. The incoming Solar Sharer program—effective July 2026 in New South Wales, South Australia and South-East Queensland—will offer eligible households three hours of free electricity daily, saving up to AUD800 annually. State-level solar and storage incentives continue to unlock additional market potential. JinkoSolar's Tiger Neo 3.0 module is positioned to capture this opportunity, delivering tangible value to customers through its extensive distribution network.

Extending Market Leadership
The 2GW deal reinforces JinkoSolar's position as Australia's leading solar supplier. SunWiz ranked JinkoSolar the top photovoltaic manufacturer in Australia for 2025, with 26% market share.
