Trinasolar unveils Vertex S+ G3 and Vertex N G3 series at KEY Energy Expo

Trinasolar, a global leader in smart solar solutions, today launched its new Vertex S+ G3 and Vertex N G3 series at the KEY Energy Expo in Rimini, Italy. The latest generation module platforms deliver high power, efficiency and long-term reliability across residential, C&I and utility applications. Visitors can explore the new products in hall C1 / booth 311.

The Vertex S+ G3 series delivers up to 485 W and 24.3% efficiency using advanced n-type i-TOPCon Ultra technology. The Vertex N G3 series extends the portfolio into ultra-high-power applications, offering up to 760 W and efficiencies of up to 24.8%. Both series feature low degradation and robust module design to ensure reliable energy generation over decades.

The Vertex S+ G3 series: Delivering more power together
The Vertex S+ G3 series comprises three modules tailored for residential and C&I rooftops: Vertex S+ G3, Vertex S+ G3 Full Black and Vertex S+ G3 Shield.

Vertex S+ G3 (NEG9RP.28Z) delivers up to 485 W and 24.3% efficiency. Its low-voltage, high-current design enables longer strings and lower BOS costs, while 0.35% annual degradation and 30-year power and 25-year product warranties ensure long-term value in a lightweight 1762 × 1134 × 30 mm format.

Vertex S+ G3 Full Black (NEG9R.25Z) combines all-black aesthetics with up to 480 W and 24.0% efficiency. Optimised for residential rooftops, it maintains strong high-temperature and low-irradiance performance and is backed by the same 30-year power and 25-year product warranties.

Vertex S+ G3 Shield (NED9R.28Z) offers up to 485 W with enhanced mechanical strength and rigorous testing, including high load and hail resistance. Designed for demanding climates, it also features 0.35% annual degradation and 30-year power and 25-year product warranties.

Vertex N G3 series: Ultra-high power for maximum energy yield
The Vertex N G3 series includes two high-power modules engineered for large-scale rooftop and utility installations: NEG21C.20Q and NEG19RC.20Q.

NEG21C.20Q delivers up to 760 W and 24.5% efficiency on the 210mm platform. Its low-voltage design increases string power and reduces BOS and LCOE by 2-6%, while n-type i-TOPCon Ultra technology and dual-glass construction ensure reliable performance in demanding environments. With strong low-irradiation behaviour and a bifaciality ratio of up to 85%, the module is backed by a 30-year power warranty.

NEG19RC.20Q delivers up to 670 W and 24.8% efficiency and is optimised for 1P tracker systems. Its low-voltage architecture reduces BOS and LCOE by 1-5% while maintaining system compatibility, supported by n type i-TOPCon Ultra technology and durable dual-glass design. Featuring a bifaciality ratio of up to 85%, it ensures high energy yield and long-term reliability with a 30-year power warranty.

“The launch of the Vertex S+ G3 and the Vertex N G3 series marks a major milestone for Trinasolar,” said Gonzalo de la Viña, President Trinasolar Europe and Latin America & Caribbean at Trinasolar. “With our third-generation platform and five module models ideally suited to different application scenarios, we are combining cutting-edge cell technology, advanced module engineering and long-term reliability to create greater value for installers, partners and system owners.”

The Vertex S+ G3 and Vertex N G3 series will be available in H2 of 2026.
