MPC Energy Solutions (“MPCES”, “Company”) has signed an agreement to sell its shares in the solar PV joint venture Planeta Rica in Colombia. The closing of the transaction is pending customary closing conditions which will be finalized in the coming months.
MPCES acquired a 50% equity stake in the 26.6 MW project in 2021, partnering with Akuo Energy. The plant began operations in late 2023 and was fully commissioned in 2024.
