Quantum Fuel Systems (Quantum), a fully integrated alternative energy company, has received its largest-contract-to-date from VoltaGrid, an advanced energy management and generation company that supplies intelligent, affordable, clean and turnkey power and fuel solutions for remote and grid-parallel applications. Quantum’s market-leading VPLite45/40 virtual pipeline trailers for natural gas will be delivered to VoltaGrid beginning in Q1 and running through Q3 of 2024.

VoltaGrid, the market leader in West Texas, will continue to utilize Quantum’s VPLite45/40 trailers in their work supplying intelligent, affordable, clean and turnkey power and fuel solutions for remote and grid-parallel applications. The VPLite45/40 trailer has an industry-leading gaseous capacity of approximately 472,000 standard cubic feet and weighs less than 59,000 pounds fully loaded. The trailers are certified for use in the U.S. and are the leading choice for customers needing a smaller, lighter trailer that is easily maneuvered in tight areas.
