JinkoSolar Offers 18.79MW Tiger Neo 3.0 Module to Empower Hundreds of Households in Japan

Recently, JinkoSolar, a global leader in the photovoltaic industry, announced that 18.79MW of its Tiger Neo 3.0 PV modules have been purchased to be deployed on hundreds of household rooftops in Japan.

The unique features of Tiger Neo 3.0 modules precisely address core pain points in Japan’s PV market, including scarce rooftop resources, frequent overcast conditions with low light levels, and high coastal salt fog exposure.

Tiger Neo 3.0, offers high output of 650-670 Wp and 24.2%-24.8% efficiency at module level. Instead of using back-contact structure at the cost of sacrificing bifaciality, low-light performance, and causing severe multi-point current leakage, Neo 3.0 panels are acknowledged for several advantages:

  • Among the highest efficiency: Rank among the most efficient solar panels available, with panel efficiency between 24.06 and 24.8%, outperforming most competitors, making them a top choice for rooftop installation.
  • Increased bifaciality: With bifaciality reaching 85-90%, Tiger Neo 3.0 are the highest-output solar modules on the market, further securing its absolute dominance in utility sectors.
  • Unparalleled low light performance: Ideal for C&I and homeowners looking to generate the maximum amount of electricity in prolonged times and days thanks to enhanced tolerance to irradiation.
  • Much less current leakage: Avoid multiple current leakage pathways existing in BC cells for P/N junction isolation on the limited backside.
  • Enhanced sand and dirt coverage tolerance: Standard BC solar panels suffer from power loss when evenly covered by sand, bird dirt. Tiger Neo 3.0 panels, however, with 7–8% increased light transmittance, reduce vulnerability to sand, dirt shading on panel.
  • Optimized temperature coefficient: Special cell design allows for better current flow, improved heat dissipation, and reduced hotspot formation.
  • Superior durability: Dual-glass design increases mechanical strength to resist hurricane, strong winds and snows.
  • Industry-leading warranty: A30-year warranty applies on all Neo 3.0 series.
  • Sleeker appearance: Compared to traditional TOPCon panels, a sleeker look makes Tiger Neo 3.0 panels aesthetically pleasing.
