Rosatom Wind Farms Generated Over 4 Million MWh of Electricity

NovaWind wind power plants have produced over 4 million MWh of electric power since commissioning. In the first quarter of 2023 alone, they generated 650 thousand MWh of electricity, having demonstrated a 1.2-fold increase year-on-year. In Q1 2022, the wind farms produced 550 thousand MWh (excluding power output from the Berestovskaya Wind Farm).

The 2023 figure includes electric power generated by seven wind farms commissioned in the Republic of Adygea, Stavropol Krai, and Rostov Region. With a total installed capacity of 780 MW, the wind farms prevented 228 thousand metric tonnes of CO2 equivalent from being emitted into the atmosphere in the period under discussion.
