Franklin Energy Signs Contracts with New York Utilities

Franklin Energy Services, LLC , a leading national energy efficiency program implementation firm, announced today that it has signed a contract with New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) and Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) – both electric and gas utilities and subsidiaries of AVANGRID.

Franklin Energy will manage and implement cost-effective Multifamily Programs and Commercial and Industrial Rebate Programs for both utility companies. A new office will be opened in Rochester, NY to implement the programs and continue Franklin Energy’s expansion into the Northeast U.S.

“We’ve already commenced start-up activities and developed strategies to ensure NYSEG and RG&E reach their goals,” said Mark Bowen, Franklin Energy Services VP of Business Development. “Both utilities are new clients in a new state for our firm. We know the northeast region and its customers well. As we continue to expand our reach, we show time and again that Franklin Energy is the industry expert that utilities can count on for their cost saving goals.”
