NTE Energy Introduces Asset Management Group as Power Projects Progress

As NTE Energy (NTE) continues to develop and construct its natural gas power projects across the United States, the team has expanded its service offerings to include asset management. This new function for NTE Energy will both support the asset management of the internal NTE power projects as well as focus on providing third party asset management services for external clients. With extensive experience from both the equipment supply and owner/operator side of the power industry, Dan Muxie has joined NTE as Vice President of Asset Management. Coming from InterGen, a global independent power producer, he brings a wealth of knowledge to a well established team at NTE.

Muxie’s experience includes leadership roles in the international field service division of General Electric, where he managed power projects in North & South America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He was also responsible for program management of six-sigma quality initiatives and led the commercial sales for the SE US region. While at InterGen Muxie held leadership roles in global outage management, reliability engineering, operations & maintenance support. Muxie also managed the business planning and commercial processes across a wide portfolio of assets including coal, gas, combined cycle, renewables and compression projects both domestically and internationally.

Seth Shortlidge, CEO of NTE Energy, explained, “Dan brings extensive operational experience to the team at NTE which allows us to support our internal projects as they advance from construction to operation, as well as offer clients strategic asset management services while employing the best business practices from across multiple industries.”
