Vestas Wins 47 MW Project in Northern Ireland

Vestas has received a firm order from ERG SpA for the 47 MW Corlacky Hill wind project in Northern Ireland, UK.

The order consists of 11 V117-4.2 MW wind turbines in 4.3 MW operating mode, and includes supply, delivery, and commissioning of the turbines. Upon completion, Vestas will service the turbines under a 25-years Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement designed to ensure optimised performance of the assets.

“I am thrilled that we have secured Corlacky Hill, which will become an important contributor to Northern Ireland’s energy transition,” says James Ian Robinson, Director Sales UK at Vestas. “Our thanks go to ERG for their trust in our technology, and we are now looking forward to start working on the project.”
