JinkoSolar, one of the largest and most innovative solar module manufacturers in the world, today announced that it will supply up to 550MW of its N-type Tiger Neo panels to SPIC (State Power Investment Corporation Limited), the largest power producer as well as the largest solar energy developer in China, which demonstrates the universal highly recognition and accelerated transition towards N-type technology.
The higher efficiency and better performance of Tiger Neo helps large developers to offer stable, competitive pricing to potential off takers as demand for solar energy grows. Geographies where the energy markets are volatile and supply chain challenges are prevalent, developers try to lock-in certainty by adopting next generation N-type solutions. This enables them to guarantee a firm low power price and optimize their return on investment as well.
“We’re honored that China’s largest power developer SPIC has placed their trust in Jinkosolar and its N-type technology,” said Dany Qian, “Proven superior performance of our Tiger Neo in real-world scenarios and price volatility in raw material, appears to be driving solar developers to speed up the shift towards more advanced N-type modules for their projects and sign up for bulk quantities ahead of growing demand.”
