EDPR is selling 127MW of the clean energy produced from two projects in Spain to Proctor and Gamble under a 15-year power purchase agreement.
The energy company’s 100MW Penaflor solar park located in Albecete will produce 100MW towards the agreement, while its 47MW Sieraa de Vienta wind farm located in Valladolid will produce the remaining 27MW.
Both sites are expected to reach commercial operation in 2023, EDPR said.
With this new agreement, EDPR now has 0.6GW of capacity secured in Spain set to enter in operation from 2021 onwards.
