Borja Zarraga, new Business Development and Commercial Manager of Energy at SENER

SENER has named Borja Zárraga, until now Director of the Power and Industrial Department, Business Development and Commercial Manager of all whole Energy sector. This appointment is part of the new structural Energy organization that led to the recent appointment of Álvaro Lorente as Managing Director.

Borja Zárraga is an industrial engineer majoring in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao, Spain. During his twenty years at SENER, he has been Manager for the Mechanics Area of SENER’s Industrial and Marine Division, Country Manager of SENER in Mexico and Director of SENER's Power and Industrial Department.

In Energy, SENER is a turnkey contractor and provides operation and maintenance services for electrical power plants, solar thermal plants, LNG storage and regasification terminals, underground gas storage terminals, refineries, petrochemical and plastics plants, and municipal, agricultural and industrial waste-to-energy treatment plants.

In recent years, SENER has built up an important presence in the area of engineering and construction for energy production plants, and has become a technology solutions and EPC projects’ company recognized the world over for its execution of technologically complex turnkey projects in Europe, America, Africa and the Middle East.
