Rigstar Awarded the Telecommunications Contract for the Coastal GasLink Project

Rigstar Communications Inc. (Rigstar) is pleased to announce that Coastal GasLink Pipeline LP (CGL) has selected Rigstar as the project Telecommunication Services Provider. The contract will support 10 camps and associated offices along the 670-kilometre pipeline from the Dawson Creek area to the proposed LNG Canada facility near Kitimat, B.C. The pipeline will safely transport natural gas across Northern B.C. to the west coast where LNG Canada will prepare it for export to global markets. Rigstar received the Conditional Waiver Notice and Full Notice to Proceed under its Agreement with CGL effective October 5th, 2018.

Rigstar has spent the last four years engineering and designing a unique and complex remote telecom network solution that will support 20,000+ workers over a 3-year period. To further enhance our commitment to the region and ensure the overall success of the project, Rigstar intends to open a number of remote Field Offices along the route including its’ principal Service Centre in Prince George, B.C.
