Nuclear Energy Experts Convene for Annual Fuel Symposium

Nuclear power experts from around the world are gathered in Wilmington for an annual symposium hosted by Global Nuclear Fuel (GNF).

“The symposium provides our customers who operate nuclear power plants around the world the opportunity to exchange technical information, share best practices and collaborate on common issues,” said Amir Vexler, CEO of GNF. “This is an important event that affords us the opportunity to connect with fuel engineers and nuclear plant operators to help deepen our knowledge and understanding of their needs and advance our partnerships in delivering technology and performance.”

Participants in the two-day symposium include fuel design, fuel reliability and reactor engineers. More than 20 technical presentations are on the agenda regarding topics such as fuel reliability, core monitoring, digital solutions and regulatory issues. There will also be presentations about the recent deployment of GNF’s ARMOR and IronClad accident tolerant fuel solutions, as well as the upcoming delivery of GNF3 to two U.S. utility customers of GNF.
