EnergySolutions Announces Acquisition of MHF Services

EnergySolutions announced today it has reached an agreement to acquire MHF Services, an integrated packaging, transportation and logistics provider of radioactive, hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Transportation services include rail, truck, marine and a national network of transload facilities.

"Acquiring MHF strengthens our ability to provide our customers a complete range of logistics and disposal services more cost effectively," added Lockwood.

Headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, MHF was founded in 1994 and has the largest independent fleet of specialized rail equipment, four strategically located transload facilities and a manufacturing facility for fabricating both hard and soft sided waste containers. For more than twenty years MHF has maintained an impeccable safety record, strong regulatory compliance and reliable operations with no major incidents.
