New York City Selects Envision Solar's EV ARC Solar Powered, Transportable EV Charging Station

Envision Solar International, the leading renewable energy Media and Branding, and EV charging product company, announced today that its EV ARC product is the specified product in an Invitation to Bid released by New York City's Citywide Administrative Services. The Company has received multiple inquiries from vendors who are interested in purchasing EV ARC to fulfill the order.

"New York is expected to be in the top three States in the US for EV sales during the next decade," said Desmond Wheatley, CEO of Envision Solar. "Our EV ARC product is the perfect solution for a city which requires a scalable and easily deployable EV charging infrastructure that does not require trenching or foundations and can be moved whenever it suits the site owner. We are thrilled to be selected by New York -- it's a great city and the perfect home for our products."

Invented and manufactured in the US, the EV ARC fits inside a parking space and generates enough clean, solar electricity to power up to 150 miles of EV driving each day. The system's solar electrical generation is enhanced by EnvisionTrak, which causes the array to follow the sun, generating 18 to 25% more electricity than a fixed array. The energy is stored in the EV ARC product's energy storage for charging day or night. Because the EV ARC product requires no trenching, foundations or installation work of any kind it is deployed in minutes and can be moved to a new location with ease.

According to a report from Navigant Research, the states of California, New York, Washington, and Florida will lead the United States in annual sales of PEVs through 2022.
